Like your pictures...hope the rough seas have calmed down by now. Yes, that time difference situation is quite confusing.

Thanks for the Happy Birthday message. 75 down and 80 coming up..sounds old doesn't it.

As Sheri said..it was nasty weather here on Tuesday..Manhattan had 7 inches, some reports said 8 inches. Our temperature this morning is 35 degrees...the roads are cleared quickly.

Brent's election update was right on..I don't understand Rush..or Dobson (Focus on the Family)..They don't think that McCain is a real conserative. Romney gave a very inspirational speech at the conservative conference yesterday when he resigned. McCain had a good reception at that same conference yesterday. I would like for Huckelbe(sp) to go further. There was a report yesterday that Obama got more states than Hillary on Super Tuesday and even in late calculations more delegates.

I played tennis yesterday..don't get to play much this winter because our indoor tennis courts are not heated...it usually is about 40 degrees in there which is not bad..but some women won't play when it is that cold.

I wonder how much this blog will hold?

Talk to you later

Do you get to read the sports news in the paper? Let me know if you want me to tell you about basketball etc. Pebble Beach is on tv this week.

Sandra,
I don't understand Rush and the likes on the McCain issue. Romney three major accomplishments as Gov. of Mass. are right off Hillary’s agenda. Then you throw in flip flopping on stem cell and abortion and he gets support from the right? McCain may be a rogue Republican but at least you know where he stands. With the current status of voter registration being aligned for the Dem’s, the Rep.’s need all the help they can get from Moderates and Independents that McCain brings.

You need a nap in there somewhere..

This is Saturday here..but Sunday there and you are in Sydney...so not a sea day.

As on every Saturday we watch many basketball games..going to our own here at 5:00 today...KU plays Baylor and is predicted to win by 18 points.
We play Oklahoma State and predicted to win by 11 points. K-State hasn't been playing as well lately ..not making free throws as well..although Beasly made 35 points last game playing Nebraska.

Today is Kansas Cacaus (sp)..McCain and Huckabee were both in Kansas yesterday..Brownback is supporting McCain.

Snow is melting...supposed to be freezing rain tomorrow night.

Love

It's me again...thought you might be interested in the results of Kansas Caucus. Huckabee got over 14,000 and McCain a little over 5,000. Kansas has 36 delegates.

KU girls lost to K-State girls..but only by 6 points. Missouri lost to Texas A&M...(old Wichita coach)...Wish MO had played as badly when we played them..we lost to them, but won the Texas A&M game.

Tell me if you get tired of hearing from me...with ever little detail.

KU beat Baylor 100 to 90 scoring 64 points the second half in busting open a 36-33 game at half time. KU was 0 for 9 three point attempts, but hit 32 of 63 shots overall. Baylor made 12 threes in 29 attempts. KU did most of there damage running the floor and inside. Everytime KU tried to put Baylor away they would hit a three from 5 to 7 feet behind the line. KSU beat OSU at home easily, don't remember the exact score, but about 20 points. OSU has now lost 18 consectives road games.

At home it a slow weekend, no track meets for the first time this year. Mark cut his knee and needed two stiches skiing last saturday, so he can't ski for the next two weeks. Bryan hasn't got out at all this year, track and his social life have keep him busy.

Brent gave a good description of the KU game...

Enjoyed talking with you on the phone yesterday...You sounded good and having a good time.

The report I gave you about the cacus(I am going to have to learn how to spell)was wrong..The 14,000 for Huckabee and over 5,000 for McCain was reported at 3:00 p.m...but at in the evening was reported over 10,000 for Huckabee and over 4,000 for McCain..they must have recounted.

It is cold again today after a nice spring day yesterday..supposed to have freezing rain tonight and tomorrow morning.
